TCS 2
Week of April 13-19: All assignments for the rest of the year will be found on my Google Classroom. It should already be loaded onto your Google account. Keep in mind ALL assignments from today until the end of the year will be considered assessments NOT notebook assignments. This first assignment we will be starting slow and finishing the geography assignment we began before break. It will be due 4/19. Please let me know if you are having tech issues or questions.
March 18th: Young Scholars. As you know school has been put on an extended break until April 28th. I will not be posting work or assignments for the time being because they are designed to be done with a teachers guidance. This may change if I get word from the district regarding how to proceed. Check in from time to time for updates. Feel free to email me with any questions for concerns. I will be checking my email regularly. Take care and I look forward to seeing all of you when we return.

Mon 3/2 & Tues 3/3: Today we reviewed the 10 amendments and made a one pager on 1 of them. For the One Pager: Choose an amendment, write what it means in your own words, use 4 symbols/pics to represent what it means, and lastly make it full color with a boarder representing the theme.

Thur 2/27 & Fri 2/28: Today is assessment day on the Great Society. **When done with the test, grab a textbook and use page 80-82 below and fill out the worksheet that was handed out to the class. This is assignment # 12
Tues 2/25 & Wed 2/26: As a review, students made posters and did a gallery walk. Test is next class. It will NOT be open note. You will need to define the Great Society; know the areas the G.S. programs covered; be able to list and define a program that fits into each area; and tell me what LBJ did for civil rights.
Mon 2/24: Today we looked at the cost of the Great Society Programs. Use the sheet and the PowerPoint below to cut $414.7 Billion out of budget. This is assignment #11. Assessment day will be Thursday and Friday of this week.

Thur 2/20 & Fri 2/21: We looked at LBJ's Great Society Programs. Use the packet to fill out the worksheet. Both are attached below. Step one: read the speech on the first page then fill out the top of the worksheet. Look for what problem LBJ wants to address and fill that out on the top. Step 2: Look at page 2 of the packet, read each program and on the worksheet tell me what does the program do, who does it help and how.
